Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to welcome you and your children to the 2024-2025 Sunday School year at the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe. As we embark on another year of spiritual growth and learning, we are thrilled to announce that our program will include both Religion and Armenian Language classes. Our dedicated team of teachers and volunteers have been working diligently to prepare a rich and engaging curriculum that will foster a deeper understanding of our faith and heritage.

Class Schedule

Our Sunday School classes will take place every Sunday, beginning on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, at 10:15 AM. Below is the schedule for the classes:

Religion Classes:

Time: 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM

Age Groups:

Ages 4-8

Ages 9-12

Armenian Language Class:

Time: 10:45 AM - 11:15 AM

Holy Communion:

11:15 AM – 11:40 AM

Creative Activity or Children’s Sermon (1st Sunday of Month):

11:40 AM – 12:00 PM

Important Information

Registration: Please ensure your child is registered by September 15th. Registration forms can be found at the Church Office or on our Website at the link here: https://www.hyepointearmenianchurch.org/gallery-3

Materials: All necessary materials for both Religion and Armenian Language classes will be provided. However, we encourage students to bring their notebooks and pens.

Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for your child's progress. If your child is unable to attend a class, please inform the Sunday School office in advance.

Upcoming Events

We have planned several exciting events throughout the year, including:

Children’s Sermons:  The first Sunday of every month, the children will receive a special sermon from Der Vart.

Christmas Party: The children will help Der Vart put up the Christmas tree in Ermonian Hall followed by a pizza dinner and movie on Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Christmas Pageant: An opportunity for children to participate in our annual Christmas Hantis on Sunday, January 12th, 2025.

Poonparegentan: The children are invited to help our Parish family kick-off the Lenten season with music, dancing, and a potluck luncheon on Sunday March 2nd, 2025.

Egg Hunt/Blessing of the Children: On Palm Sunday, April 13th, there will be an Egg Hunt followed by Der Vart’s Blessing of the Children after Holy Badarak.

End-of-Year Celebration: A celebration to recognize the hard work and achievements of our students on Sunday, May 18th, 2025.
